Since centuries people have been attracted by the particular atmosphere of Murnau and its beautiful site.

Among them were famous painters such as Franz Marc, Wassily Kandinsky and Gabriele Münter.

Following this tradition the Gallery and Art-Hotel Am Eichholz is integrated in a manor from the early days of the 20th century. Here guests may not only enjoy art, landscape and tradition but have the opportunity to live their own creativity.

Mediterranean cooking and individually styled rooms with refined taste are offered to the visitors and guests.

Exhibitions of contemporary art of Gina Feder and international art of the art-collection are presented all over the property, for example in the community rooms - the Glass House and the Terrasse Room – in the guest rooms and suites.

The mediterranean garden, with almost park like dimensions, offers an oasis for relaxation, quietness and spectacular view of the Alps.
